The Nautas captain and crew's priority is the safety of the journey. For this reason, the Nautas vessels -as well as strictly adhering to all the reviews requested by both the General Direction of the Merchant Navy and the other relevant bodies- possess additional safety measures.

Fast ferrystate-of-the-art technology

This vessel includes state-of-the-art technology to ensure safe and comfortable navigation. All the vessel's exclusive design systems have been tested in laboratories and in hydrodynamic tunnels with comparative studies made in real situations on board of experimental vessels.

The safety equipment of the fast ferry has, among other items, the following components:

  • Latest generation radars and ARPA
  • IMCO data centralisation system for the fire prevention systems
  • ECDIS system (Electronic Chart Display and Information System)
  • GPS satellite electronic positioning systems
  • Totally equipped according to the Global Maritime Distress and Safety System
